Sustainable feed
The goal of the social mission of sustainable feed livestock and fish aims to ensure that all feed for farmed fish and livestock comes from sustainable sources and contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in food systems.
Organisation
The social mission on sustainable feed is led by a group consisting of The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The Ministry of Education and Research, the Ministry of Climate and Environment and the Ministry of Health and Care Services are also involved.
A steering group consisting of actors from industry, research, public administration and civil society will make professional and strategic recommendations to the authorities and industry in order to achieve the goals for the social mission.
The Research Council hosts a secretariat. The secretariat is responsible for the operation and development of the social mission. This involves coordinating the work of the steering group, expert groups and further developing the cooperation between professional agencies and the policy support system.
Every year, there will be a national conference on sustainable feed with participation from industry, research, management and other relevant actors.

Support for Events
Through this call, you can apply for funding to organise conferences, workshops and seminars. The event will be a meeting place for dissemination of research results, knowledge sharing, development of a knowledge base and/or the establishment of scientific collaboration. The event can be both physical and digital.
3rd call in the AGROECOLOGY Partnership
The partnership will fund R&I projects providing significant contributions to either one of the following two topics : Topic 1 Enhancing the genetic diversity and variability of crops and livestock for the agroecological transition Topic 2 Strengthening farmer’s involvement and empowerment in the agroecology transition
