Writing an application in the new application system (My page)
We will be introducing a new application form throughout 2026 that will apply to many of our calls this year. We advise you to start early and get to know the call text and the application form when writing your application.

Create an application via the call
You create an application directly from a call for proposals. Read the call text carefully before you create the application. Before you get to the application form, you must log in to My page.
Get to know the requirements for the application
Some general requirements apply to all applications, while other requirements are described in the call for proposals you are applying for. You should familiarise yourself with all these requirements before writing your application.
Set up work packages and budget
There is a completely new setup for budgeting and calculating funding in the new application form. The project must be budgeted in work packages. Once you have entered the costs, these are automatically distributed over the work package's period.
Roles in applications and projects (new)
When you write an application in our new application system or carry out a project with follow-up in the new system, the roles of participants in the project are important.
Competence description
In the new application system, you do not have to submit traditional CVs. Instead, we ask for a textual description of the competence in the project.
Find out whether state aid is involved
When companies and other enterprises receive funding from us, this constitutes state aid. The state aid rules contain provisions on the types of activities that can be funded, the expenses of these activities that can be covered in whole or in part, and what the maximum aid intensity is for the various activities.
Follow the guidelines for information security, disclosure and access
We have clear guidelines for the dissemination and publication of project data, the handling of access requests and the safeguarding of sensitive data. You must familiarise yourself with and follow these guidelines. All guidelines are based on Norwegian law.
If you have login problems on My page, read this

Problems logging in?
If you have problems logging in, you can watch this video. If you want to get text on the video, click on the small speech bubble that appears if you put the mouse cursor in the bottom right corner of the video. Here you can choose between subtitles in Norwegian or English.
We have also made a step-by-step-description (PDF) of how to log in and normal troubleshooting. If you are still stuck, contact our answer service.
Are you having trouble registering as an evaluator?
Use this step-by-spep-descroption (PDF).
Are you having trouble getting foreign users to log in and confirm their roles?
Unfortunately, we see that some foreign users are not notified that they have been added to applications and/or that they are unable to log in. It is important when you invite people that you are sure that the email and phone number are correct and that these will be the same email and phone number that foreign users want or can log on to My page with.
A common mistake is that phone numbers are entered with errors in the prefix in numbered. The country code must only be entered in the country code field. Phone numbers will never begin with "0", "00", "0(0)" or +. It is also important that no spaces are added.
If, for special reasons, it proves difficult to appoint an organisational representative for the partner and you are unable to submit the application because of this, the organisation representative for the Project Owner may temporarily assume the role of organisational representative for the partner.
In this case, we ask that you inform the partner about this and take care of the communication between you about this. If the application is approved, it is important that you as soon as possible get a correct organisational representative in place for the partner. Please contact us if the technical challenges still cannot be solved.
